• The above rates apply for charters of 7 nights minimum - All prices subject to change without notice. In case any applicable VAT or sales tax is increased after the booking confirmation, the charterer shall pay the additional VAT or sales tax, regardless of the agreed price on booking time

• The rates include: 8h/day generator use, Autopilot, GPS, CD or Music-Player & cockpit speakers, Greek VAT of yacht charter price .

• The rates do not include:  Cancellation insurance, transfers airport-base-airport, diesel, fuel and water.

Consumables: 

All our yachts are delivered with full tanks of diesel & petrol fuel (yacht & dinghy), full tank of water, 1 bottle of cooking gas in duty + 1 spare bottle.

The yacht should be re-delivered with full tanks of diesel fuel.

Skiathos Yachting Base : Skiathos Island

Pick up possibilities for “Captain George” or “Orsa”: Skiathos island OR A different pick-up place (Volos or Athens) can be arranged with an extra fee (see one way fee below), subject to availability.

OPTIONAL CHARTER PACKS for “Captain George” & “Orsa” (payable in case at base - subject to change in case of VAT or sales tax regulation):

• Skipper: 200,00€ per night & food (local Skipper highly recommended)
• Sailing Instructor H.S.F. (only with “Captain George”)*: 240,00€ per night & food and 600,00€ per student (minimum 1 student) *learn sailing and get skipper license recognized from Hellenic Sailing Federation during your vacation!
• Hostess/Cook: 190,00€ per night & food. (It is at the guests’ discretion whether or not they wish the crew to join them ashore for meals. Provisions must be onboard for the crew otherwise the amount for their meals is € 30/day/person)
• Generator use: 8,00€ per extra hour
• Children safety net (installed): 250,00€ per charter
• Gennaker (For “Captain George” only): 350,00 € per week plus additional deposit 1.000€
• Inflatable Life Jackets: 40,00 € per person/ per week

• Crew changes during the charter. (Valid when the skipper does not change).The price does not include cleaning :  200,00 € per crew change, (price includes administration cost, paperwork and legal formalities, change of linen/ towels,1 day marina fees)

The client is obliged to keep on board an updated crew-list at all the times. If crew-members change the crew-list onboard should be updated.

Embarkation: Saturday 17h00 or any week day upon request
Disembarkation:  Saturday 09h00 or any week day upon request
(compulsory return to the base at 17h00, the evening before disembarkation)

Discounts
Long term discount: 5% on any charter from 14 nights to 20 nights, 10% from 21 nights and more
Early booking discount: 10% for any charter booked and paid 180 days or more prior to charter start date 
Repeater discount: 5% for any repeat client

**Maximum discount (including long term discount): 15%

Refundable Security Deposit

To be paid at the base upon embarkation by bank certified cheque, cash, credit card (Visa and MasterCard only). If paid by credit card the client should contact his/her bank previously and let them know about the transaction. Should the refundable full security deposit by credit card be refused at the time of embarkation, client will be obliged to subscribe the non refundable security insurance.

The payment of the Refundable Security Deposit, is designed to cover only one incident of a substantial nature at any one time: After a damage happens in order to cover the risk of a 2nd incident of damage, within the same charter, the charterer shall replenish the security deposit to its initial amount. In case of loss or damage to equipment of significant value such as outboard engine or dinghy, the charterer will have the right to an immediate replacement whilst on charter, provided that the charterer pays a new Refundable Security Deposit immediately upon receipt of replacement or repair.

Refundable Security Deposit Rates:
For “Captain George”: 3000,00 €
For “Orsa”: 3500,00 €

Refundable Security Deposit Payment:
To be paid at the base upon embarkation by credit card (Visa and MasterCard only)

** The client should previously contact his/her bank and ensure the appropriate credit card limit

** Should the refundable full security deposit be refused at the time of embarkation, client will be obliged to pay by cash the Refundable Security Deposit.


Payments :
30% of the charter fee to confirm booking

100% of the charter fee plus all booked options 60 days before embarkation

Cancellation fee :
More than 95 days : 500,00 €
Between 89 to 60 days before charter start of the charter fee : 30% of the charter fee (without options)
59 days and less before charter start of the charter fee : 100% of the charter fee (without options)

Cancellation of Crew arrangements (Skipper/Hostess): if notice of cancellation is given 1 to 45 days prior to departure 25% of agreed services price is due.

Sailing Qualifications

Minimum requirements involve that,

• one crew member presents the Port Authority an appropriate sailing certificate, proving his competence as Skipper, and
• one experienced crew member is declared as Co-skipper; Co-skipper should possess equivalent certification as Skipper or may otherwise sign a self-declaration statement for the port authority verifying his sailing experience.

Subject to applicable Greek legislation, qualifications are to be approved by the local Port Authority on the day of departure. Charterer is at all times liable for suitability of his qualification and certification. Day Skipper Certificates is not accepted by the Port Authority and Charterers are therefore advised to ensure they have an International Certificate of Competence (ICC). Typically, any holder of “Day Skipper” certificate can obtain their ICC from the yachting association that issued their Day Skipper certificate and the process usually requires nothing more than a simple application.

Our guarantee: Both yachts are in excellent condition. Should a technical failure happen despite our highly professional maintenance, we commit ourselves to repair the failure in the next 5 hours following your call at the base during working hours (8 am to 5 pm). If you lose more than 5 hours (during working hours) we will compensate you one full day. If the repair takes more than 1 day, we will provide you with a similar boat or compensate you on a pro rata basis. In case of emergency you can rely on our hotline, at any time, 7 days a week. The guarantee is valid for technical failures affecting major & important parts of the yacht (not applicable to ancillary equipment). If restrictions to this guarantee apply in specific areas, this will be detailed during the charter check-in in the Operator’s base.
